Just a few lines to let you know that we have not forgotten where Nikita came from. She is doing great. In fact we are very proud to have her. The other day at training she got to barking at this russian black terrior. These dogs are huge. This one was 130 and tall. The russian who was not on a leash got annoyed at Nikita who I had on a short leash and charged at us. At first she panicked and yelped. But then as he approached she clicked she braced her self got up on her hind legs and sqaured off with this beast of a dog going muzzle to muzzle making him back away, when he saw what she was packing in that muzzle of hers. She 10 months old. She is compact but very strong, with a large boxed head and very large teeth. She is about 26 " at the hither and weighs 80Lbs, and has plenty of courage. I also must add she is very vane. I have never had a dog who always holds her head up, as to say "just look at me I am very pretty". And the truth is although she is beautiful it is a beauty of a scary type if you know what I mean. Any ways I thought I would write you. I wished I had a bigger house and didn't have to always work. I would like to get me one of you males. Michelle if there is anything I can do for you please let me know.
Sincerely
Steven Jimenez
(74)My wife and I have three Von Jagermeister Haus shepherds. They are sisters out of Jewels and Shiloh, one year apart. Judah is 5 years old, Molly is 4 and Undine is 2 1/2. They are large (90-100+ lbs.), very intelligent, loyal, affectionate and protective.
These dogs can be taught almost anything. They each learned come, sit, stay and down in 1 or 2 days. Judah and Molly respond to both hand signals and spoken English and German commands. Undine is just learning hand signals. They also do agility work – tunnels and hurdles. They are so eager to work and please that training them is fun. They are so loyal that we can work them off leash or just let them run and they never lose sight of us.
They are not mean or aggressive. We take them to street fairs, outdoor concerts, parks, etc. They are alert and curious but they mostly just ignore other people and dogs. However, they have some kind of radar and when they sense a threat, they get very protective. I have seen this 3-4 times and they had good reason each time.
The first time we took Judah to the vet at 9 weeks old, the vet examined Judah, looked at Michelle’s contract and shot records and said, “This is a very good dog. She doesn’t need anything for 6 months.” The vet also said, “You found an excellent breeder. It’s obvious that she loves her dogs.”
Our experience with Michelle and Von Jagermeister Haus shepherds has been thoroughly satisfying. We count Michelle as a friend. If you are considering a German Shepherd I highly recommend that you look at Von Jagermeister Haus.
I am so glad that Shiloh is still holding his own. I count myself among the privileged few who had that magnificent dog roll over for tummy rubs.I have met both Jewels and Shiloh. Jewels is a very large (113 lbs.), handsome girl. Shiloh is a monster – 120 lbs. – a head the size of a Thanksgiving turkey and feet the size of pie plates. When I approached the house Shiloh barked to warn me off. Not vicious, but just to say, “We live here and you have not been welcomed.” Michelle told Shiloh that I was OK and Shiloh backed off and was very calm – it is a German Shepherd thing. Later, Shiloh came and stood by my side. I petted his ears and that huge dog rolled on his back for tummy rubs. That is also a German Shepherd thing. We see the same behavior from our beauties. The temperament of Von Jagermeister Shepherds is a good as it gets.
If you get a German Shepherd, please get them trained and socialized early (AKC affiliated clubs usually offer this type of early training for $10 a session). It will make later training much easier. Also keep them exercised. You don’t want a bored, highly intelligent dog finding their own entertainment.
Above all, just love them. They respond to firm, gentle correction, praise and affection. When they get it right and you praise them, you can see how happy and proud they are.
73)Michelle,
We are all doing fine.
Judah and Molly are so smart and well trained that they can be worked without a leash. You can do figure eights with both of them and they maintain a perfect heel position. They do sit, down, stay and come with either voice or hand commands. When they are in down-stay they do that classic GSD position – rear haunches tucked in, front legs extended and head high. In their down-stay position you can walk around them or walk away from them. They remain totally focused on us. Then you can face them and give them the “Come” command or signal. They immediately come running and sit in front of you and maintain intense eye contact. Then we give them the “Around” command or signal and they walk around the right side, assume the left side heel position, and sit.
Undine, is too young and doesn’t yet have the patience or concentration to match her sisters. She is excellent at heeling, figure eights, sit, and down. The stay part kind of eludes her, but she’ll get it. Undine has very pronounced protective instincts, so I’ve started with her on “bite” work. I take a rolled up dish towel and hold it out between my hands. I make her sit and stay while I flip the towel around. When I say “Biss” – German for “Bite” – she launches herself and clamps onto the towel with a death grip. Bear in mind that there about 8-10 inches between my hands for Undine to bite and she has never missed. I play tug of war with her a few seconds while telling her “Get ‘em, Undine”. Then I tell her “Aus” – German for “Out”. She’ll let go of the towel and sit without a command.
Kat is away on business now. If you would like, when she comes back we can send pix of the beauties and, if your email server allows, a short video the dogs working.
72)Hi Michelle
It was so nice finally getting to meet you the other day!! Anika is doing GREAT!! She made the trip home just fine, ate a huge dinner and crashed in our bedroom, slept all through the night. She has been following me around as I do my chores, super sweet and very affectionate. She greeted several of our customers Who come over for training and boarding(no barking or any issues) We love her and she loves us and being here!! How is Belle doing? I think she will love being with you and your family. Thanks so much for bringing the other dogs along as well, it really was a treat, they are so beautiful and very, very stable!! I am definately interested in a very large, mellow female from your next breeding of Fargo to Destiny ( I think that was her name, sorry for the slip) I am so glad that you love these guys as much as I do!!
Hi Michelle, Just another quick update Anika is doing awesome. She is very cuddly, affectionate and attentive, not to mention smart as a whip!! She follows me everywhere, greets all the customers and makes sure that I am well looked after.
Thank you love Kristie
71)Hello,
I would love to inquire further about this beautiful girl! I think she would make a wonderful addition to our family, and, when the time is right (after hips, elbows and titles) will help us produce our next generation of German Shepherd service dogs. I am located in San Jose, Ca. on 5 acres, we raise and train GSD as service dogs for folks with physical and emotional disablities, search and rescue and personal protection. Anaka has the lines, temperment and size that would fit in wonderfully with our program, our dogs work side by side with us during the day and are full family members by night.Kristie
70)Michelle;
My name is Clark and I purchased a full black female GS from you back in December. This pup was from the Fargo and Jade litter in October. I wanted to drop you a thank you e-mail as this pup has been so great. She is now 8 months old and her name is Koda. I train her for basic human commands (heel, sit, down, stay etc.) 4 times a day and wow has she learned. She is very attentive to not only my commands but my movements (hand signals) etc. She loves to retrieve She is recently going through some growing pains and my be a bit of a late bloomer but you would be able to tell better than I can. I attached some pictures for you to look at. I am currently in Alaska for the summer and will be back in California in the winter.
Thanks so much for everything
69)Hi Michelle, I just want to up date you on Dax.
He is doing fantastic and already weighs 106 lbs at 1 yr old.
He is such a amazing dog. I have never had a dog so smart.
As you know I am a pilot and live right by the airport so my windows
in my house are special windows so you can't hear anything out side, not
even the planes. With that being said, When Dax was 9 months old he came
up to my bed in the middle of the night waking me up and then running
to the glass door. He was trying to let me know he wanted out. I was
tired and did not get up. He keept trying to wake me up and now started
whining and running to the glass door. When I still would not respond he started
barking at me to get up and he never barks and then he would run back to the glass door.
Finally I got up thinking he must have to really go to the bath room and
let him out the glass door in to the back yard. As soon as I let him out
Dax took off running in the bushes attacking someone. I heard police
helicopters with there spot lights flying around. I called the police
while my dog was holding this man on the ground. They came right away because they
were right by my house looking for this man who just robed a store and was trying to
find him. They came and arrested him and he was the man they where looking for.
They could not believe my dog could hear him through the glass and that he got him and
held him until they came and that he was never trained and was so young.
He is truly a amazing dog. You dogs are one of a kind. Thank you for breeding
such amazing dogs... James
68) Michelle We just wanted to thank you for our three
German Shepherds we got from you. As you know they are all 1 yr
apart and out of Shilo and Jewels. They are our babies and they
all sleep with us and are great with our cat. They are huge and
we are stoped all the time with people telling us how good
looking they are. They are also very protective.
I feel so safe walking down the street with them even late at night.
I feel so good to know when my wife leaves and has them that no one
will bother her. Even if she is in the car and someone comes near her in
the car either drives or comes up to it they start protecting her and no one
will come near her. They know the difference if someone is fine they are very
freindly or if they are up to no good They will not let them near us.
We had three differnt time. That some guys came up to her trying to start
something. Twice in the car and once on a walk late at night. Because of the
dogs they stoped and took off. They are very smart and learn everything
very fast. All they want to do is please us. I can not thank you enough
for the best dogs we have ever had. Bev and Don

He is wonderful. He comes to work with us daily and is getting the hang
of the potty rules. We still must keep a sharp eye out when he is
indoors, but he goes on command and seems to understand it. He has already learned to sit on command and is learning “stay” He and the cat play like two puppies and it is great exercise for them both and good entertainment for us. His name is Mick but we are always calling him Pup. Oh well. He will get his shot this week

I have no idea how I will ever teach him to come, as he is usually only six inches behind Joan or myself. He did learn to use the dog door almost immediately, as I went outside, and he followed. He seems to have been house broken before we got him, as he has only had one accident since he has been here. That was a plesant suprise!
Thanks again Jerry Posthumus --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Friday, February 10, 2006 09:20 AM 60) Julie and Vick edit | delete Hi Michelle,
Molly
and Rory are now five months old. Training was easy they learn
everything so quickly. They play tug of war with their many stuffed
animals (did you know you can wash beanie babies in the washer?) Molly
is showing her desire to be protective of us. They both love to lay and
cuddle with us at night and early morning.
They are smart,
loving, and loyal. Qualities that have exceeded our expectations. Words
cannot describe how blessed we feel to have them. I would like to
suggest they be sold in pairs. They so enjoy the companionship of each
other to play and cuddle. Molly's personality really developed after
Rory came to live with us.
A million thank you's for raising such incredible pups, and choosing us to be their mum and dad.

Everyone asked me how old she was and when I told them she was only 6 they were all shocked. We went through water, over rocks, up hills (and back down), she went everywhere!!! I am SO proud of her, I can understand why it was so hard for you to let her go!!! I feel lucky to have such a good girl. I will email you pictures of her later this week if I get a chance to develop them. Also, I will send you some originals. Hope you are feeling well. have a great holiday weekend!! Monday, November 21, 2005 04:00 PM 57) Julie edit | delete Hi Michelle,
I
don't doubt for one one minute how much you must miss your pups. I hope
it helps to have kept your little girl with you. I could never part
with them. So having my pups fixed will assure me that I will not have
to cope with that. I hope you find comfort in realizinig what a special
gift of love and friendship your pups have brought to our lives. You
will feel better that this litter has found homes, when the next batch
comes along. Will you email me when you have your next litter. I'd like
to see the photos you post.
The pups are doing great. I can
shoot a roll of film in one day. There is so much to capture. They are
so happy together. Shayne is to old to play. He enjoys the company they
provide he doesn't cry or howl anymore when I leave according to my
neighbors. He watches them constantly and wags his tail at the silly
things they do. They run and play all day and fall asleep next to our
bed on their fluffy thick comforter after a cuddle in bed with me. I
had them for a walk on Larchmont Blvd. where I work, and what a
comotion they caused. One woman voted them the cutest pups on the Blvd
that day! Everyone asks what kind of dogs they are, people asked if
they were Australian Shepards. I don't think I past one person who did
not eue or ah at how beautiful they are.
They love my sisters
West Highland Terriers, but not as much as they enjoy our cat Nygel who
they use to play tug of war with, one pup pulling on each end. Our cat
is crazy when it comes to playing with them, she wakes them up just to
play.
Hope all is well Love Julie --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I
was the one that adopted Jinger from you. Just wanted to write in and
say Hi. Jinger is doing great. Absolutely an amazing dog, her
intelligence and way with small dogs and children is just awesom. I
have since adopted a second dog, through Collie rescue, and actually do
some fostering for them as well. Most of the dogs that I have fostered
need some training, and Jinger is a huge help, she runs the house. She
will let even the larger dogs know that what she says, go's. Just
wanted to write to thank you once again. How is your dog, the one that
was hit by a car, Nicole, I think you said her name is? I'm attaching a
picture of Jinger and my other one, Murray.

I don't know where to begin! The girls are so beautiful and fun! Everyone who sees them thinks they are just beautiful and very friendly. Jan and I take them on nightly walks in the neighborhood. They love it and their doing wonderfully on the leashes. They've learned to sit, stay, and come all within 3 lessons (the 3rd day)! They are so smart and of course love their treats! I take them in the SUV everyday and they always fall asleep in it. The boys love to see them when I pick them up from school! I've took some great pictures to develope and bring them to you when we visit. Kaylee sleeping with her nose in my shoe. Moo and Kaylee tackling the boys!! and movies with them small bouncing on the trampolene with Jan!! Moo is really good at cutting off Jan when she chases him. Showing her herding instincts. We are so happy to have them as part of the family. Thank you so much for doing such a great job Mothering them when they were babies. They are so friendly and loving. I'll sit on the couch and lay them on my stomach and rub their bellys and they just fall asleep. Toooo Sweeet!!
Thanks Again and Again !! Pat& Jan --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monday, October 31, 2005 10:21 AM 52) Jullie and vick edit | delete Hi Michelle,
Do
not worry, Molly has not cried at all! She barks (verbal as most
Collies are) when she runs and plays with our cat (Nigel) and our
dog(Shayne). She is running between three rooms for now our den,
bathroom and bedroom. She has her own bed but prefers sleeping with
Shayne on his large thick sleeping bag. Shayne wags his tail whenever
she comes near. She has been eating and drinking lots of water. She is
so good at going potty outside and lets us know when it's time. I was
up three time the first night, twice last night. She takes no time at
all. I put her down and a few minutes later it's time to go back in.
I'm avoiding any prolonged time outside for now. We've taken so many
photos of her. She is more beautiful than any photo can capture.
Vick
will send on the photo tonight of us with her for your website. I wish
we lived closer too. We are out that way to see Vick's relatives when
there is something special going on so you never know. If you come to
L.A. You are welcome to visit us .
Thanks again

are so happy with our black female german shepherd puppy sired by Shilo

puppy and so very smart.
Shasta 2 is 9 weeks old now and is
learning very fast. She is housebroken and will go out the door on her

I hear that a lot of people are missing the old DDR dogs now, and it's
too bad that there was not more sportsmanship and cooperation back when
we had all of these good dogs and a much wider gene pool. I tried to
conserve some of them, and also I tried help others to establish
something.. To their credit, a few did something with the dogs, and to
their shame, others did not. Some apparently took the dogs only to make
money with and dishonored the trust. Some only complained. Where are
they now? Moved on to "greener pastures" or gone, and the dogs with
them? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By the way, there is another gal out there, a DDR GSD breeder, who
picked up my "Schutzengel" kennel name when I disbanded my breeding
program in 1999, and announced that I was out of it. Maybe it was a
coincidence, but personally I doubt it. If intentional, what was gained
by this? I never knew her or had anything to do with her, and that use
was in no way authorized or transferred. I really don't have a lot of
respect for people who take up the use of established kennel names. Not
cool! If I do get back into it at some point, I will use a different
name and this time I will protect it. Good advice to everyone who has a
breeding program, to make a Trademark filing with the USPTO. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monday, September 19, 2005 05:01 PM 48) Jan wakanska@sbcglobal.net edit | delete Hey, there, T**! It took me awhile to figure out who you were! LOL. I'd tried to reach you before but came up with dead ends. I'm
glad to hear from you and that all is well with the dogs. I sure as
heck wish I had sent Aaron down your way. The Canadian who got him
turned out to be sort of a jerk, in my opinion. I helped him to set up
a working dog breeding program and couldn't get the courtesy of a call
back when I needed something. So much for friends.. Story of my life.
But I'm real glad you got Caliente. I know some people who are really
looking for that bloodline and it would be nice to team up if you still
have something from it. About helping people.. I've done it many
times and got kicked in the teeth for my trouble. An old breed warden
said: "When you help people, they will attack you...Help them, anyway!"
(paraphrased). Many times I have taken that advise and regretted it,
but if it served the dogs, it was worth it. And... You can never get out of the dogs.. They have us for life. Just accept it, OK? I
talked with Can and Linda several months ago. They still had Bruno and
were in the process of adopting a baby girl. Linda is a true mom and
they are a wonderful couple. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

J** Queenie has passed on at my retirement home for old lines DDR dogs
and "b's". Her sister, Caliente is still alive, wandering the property.
I did pick her up from those folks in Phoenix as you suggested. 1+
years ago, she was bred with Nitro V Nebelholz, a David son, and her
1/2 brother. At her advanced age, we got a single female, black, named Codi V Nebelholz. An earlier breeding of Esko Vom Raumberg and Caliente V Nguyen's-Hof created Zorro V Raumberg. Codi V Nebelholz was bred to Zorro V Raumberg, with 8 pups born 8-20-2005. Well you know who the grandfathers and great- grandfathers are.. thought I was out of the dog business! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tuesday, August 16, 2005 03:31 PM 45) fellow breeder edit | delete Amazing! I wondered where all these dogs went to. I
am the breeder of the Schutzengel line. I bred Echo, and Nyxe. My
friend Can Nguyen leased Nyxe and bred her to Bruno. He owned Quindt
very briefly when he was older. I owned Quai for a few years. I also
owned Roccer and some other DDR dogs. We also bred Nyxe to David vom
Nebelholz, and that was David's last litter. I had a female from that
named Caliente. All of these dogs were OFA certified, and I believe
that they were all OFA hips and elbows. I have their OFA numbers all
somewhere here. Now, Queenie was named Schutzengel, but my friend used
my kennel name and I in turn made up one for him and named Caliente
that, Caliente vom Nguyen's Hof. You will never meet a nicer man that
Can. His wife, Linda, is also a very awesomely nice person. Well,
that's about all.. Not much more to tell, but I could tell you a lot
about these dogs. They were pretty incredible dogs and I have many good
memories of them. I wonder if you ever got any climbers out of
that bloodline. For all of their massive size, it was amazing that Quai
and I believe also Quindt would often produce natural climbers. They
would climb and balance on narrow platforms and fence tops, as if they
had been doing it all their lives. Even as puppies they had no fear of
heights and were very surefooted and nimble. It was a very interesting
bloodline. Is your bitch old now? Do you ever breed her, or did
you? I have one nice DDR male here who would be an interesting breeding
partner, if you are curious. He is one of the last of the "von der
M체ritz" kennel line and he is a son of Don vom Haus Iris, out of the
von der M체ritz maternal kennel line. He is OFA'd hips and elbows and is
still breeding, but maybe not much longer? He is very active and in
good condition but he is getting up there. He's a stunningly well-built
black male. I also have Can's number and I spoke with him several
months ago. Last I knew, Bruno was still alive. But there were rumors
of his death.. untrue. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Michelle! I just looked at the new pics...adorable! I really liked
the looks of the pups in #005 & #006 I'm going to let my boyfriend
look at the pics and talk to him about getting you a deposit. Also, he
had suggested that maybe we should give you a deposit and wait for the
next litter so that we would have 1st pick. Are you planning on having
another litter or how does that work? Thanks for responding to all my
emails, you know, I have emailed several breeders for pics and
information and they have all been really lax about following through.
It's nice to work with someone who's not like that. I look forward to
meeting you and your family.Kim --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

life or environment...don't seem to care if we have a yard or not.....I
just don't understand how you can see puppies being born....watch them
grow and thrive, and then just toss 'em to anyone who has a check
book!! I can tell you are NOT one of those breeders!
I also like
the fact that you want to stay in touch with your babies and their new
homes.....I'd want to do the same thing. NO, I'm not interested in
breeding.....not at all!! I don't think I'd be able to part with the
puppies...I know me...would just wanna keep 'em all!! That would,
sort've, defeat the purpose of breeding dogs, don't cha think? I'm more
than happy to leave the breeding to the experts!
I'm looking
forward to seeing the pictures of the girls to see what a tri headed
and blue headed white looks like....if anything, they sound pretty!
I will get back to you regarding putting down a deposit before the puppies are born.....hafta talk that over with my husband.
Yes,
my dogs are all micro-chipped too...my biggest fear has always been to
lose one....when I was a teenager, someone took our family dog and when
I think of that time, it still gives me shivers!
Our little
Sheltie, Ellie, gets car sick.....it's strange, though, because we
drove to Tuscon to pick her up when she was a puppy and she was fine
the whole way home to Albuquerque....but now when I take her to visit
my daughter, who is a good 45 minutes away, she doesn't do very
well.....soooo she doesn't go on many car trips!
By the way...my
daughter is totally 'horse crazy.....' she's 25 now and when she was in
elementary school she took riding lessons...well...she just loved the
whole idea of horses (even the cleaning up) that we bought her
one.....she's into the Hunter/Jumper's and used to compete before going
off to college. she then went to a college in Virginia and got her BA
in Equine Studies...she and her fiancee are building a barn (he used to
show Arabians) and will have 7 horses by the time the barn is
finished...right now their horses are being boarded in Alamagordo, NM
where his family lives.....hmmmm, am I making any sense??
Well...anyway, we are a total animal-loving house too, so you can rest
assured your puppy will get all the love, attention, hugs 'n' kisses
and care that all animals deserve!
Ok....I'll send you a picture of my sweeties....looking forward to seeing your pictures also....
Thanks so much, Kathy --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tuesday, May 3, 2005 12:02 AM 31) Deborah edit | delete Hi, 4/6/05
I
have enjoyed viewing your site. I admire the way you love your animals
and treat them as part of your family. I too have always loved the
Collie. I had a male collie years ago and have missed him since he left
us. I have been looking at Collies for a few months now. I have decided
to bring a Collie back into our family. I live with my two teen
children, dogs, and cats. I have two miniature horses and an AQH mare -
they stay at my mother's farm. We too take our dogs with us most
everywhere we go; other than my daughter's toy poodle who just does not
travel well. My son's beagle mix and my daughter's other dog, a Toy Fox
Terrier, often go to the farm with us to care for the horses and like
to go on trail rides with us. I'm a Registered Nurse and work for two
psychiatrists. We go to nursing homes and care for resident's with
mental health and/or behavioral problems. I used to take my Collie with
me and hope to be able to do this again some day. I have not yet
decided if I want a puppy or perhaps a young adult. I had recenlty
contacted a breeder/shower who was selling a few of her young male
dogs; I was too late to get the one I wanted. I have also given some
thought to showing a Collie- any tips there? Please keep my in mind if you feel you may have the perfect Collie for me and my family. Also-
your Paints in the pics on your site are beautiful. We are waiting for
the arrival of foal any day now; my Quater Horse mare was bred with a
beautiful Paint Stallion, Pep's Renegade- he hits the ground a little
easier than my mare and we're hoping this passes on to the foal. Will look forward to hearing from you.

for the response. What is the price of the pups? How much will they
weigh when full grown. We are looking for a big bone straight back male
with little or no rear angulation and of all his god given parts. We do
apperciate you being selective of the new owners it is very important
for there are far too many unethical dog breeders as well as owners
that are destoying this magnificent breed. If you have what we are
looking for and we pass your guidelines as potential owners we would
want to drive over to pick up the pup. I will follow up with a phone

Thank you for being soooo sweet and such a terrific mommy to her. We're

says "Hi!". I just thought I'd send you a few pictures. With the
exception of the large cast which hampers his ability to position
himself when he wants to, Niko seems to be doing fine. Before his
flight arrived I was as nervous as an expectant father. But now I'm
much more at ease. I don't think the flight had much of a negative
impact. He's not afraid of noises or strange environments and seems to
be pretty well adjusted. You must have done a great job socializing

Saturday, January 29, 2005 07:59 AM 19) Shawn, Samantha & Jag samanthaburns@comcast.net edit | delete Hi Michelle,
We wanted to say Thank you so much for our wonderful German Shepherd puppy, Jag. Jag is from Jewels' first litter born in May 2004 and sired by Shilo.
He
is turning into such a wonderful companion and watchdog! A great
example of this is, at 7 months he alerted us to an intruder... One
morning I was sleeping and Jag barked in a low tone that I had not
heard before. I got up and called to him to stop. He did, but when I
went back to bed he immediately came into the room and started nudging
me with his muzzle. I thought he must need to go to the bathroom and
got up to let him out... When I opened the back door there was an
intruder hiding on our deck! Jag started aggressively barking at him
and the man jumped up and starting leaving. Just as this was happening
the police came flying around the corner lights flashing and arrested
the guy... The police told me they had been looking for him for an
hour. When I told the them it was my 7 month old German Shepherd that
found him, they chuckled and said Thanks and good job. We are so
impressed that he sensed something was wrong and alerted us.
He
is also doing very well with his development he now weighs 75lbs and
our vet says he has excellent bone structure and a beautiful healthy
coat. Where ever we go people always stop us to comment on how handsome
he is.
We are so happy with Jag we would someday like to have another Shepherd and will definitely come back to you for our next puppy!
Thanks again,
Shawn, Samantha & Jag --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sunday, September 26, 2004 08:19 PM 14) Greg edit | delete Hi.
My name is Greg. I love black German Shepherds! I saw Shasta's litter pics online and I have a few questions:
1) Will you ship a puppy within the U.S.? 2) When are you planning Shasta's next litter? 3) I see that Shasta's current pups are all black (or mostly), will Shasta's next litter be all black?
I'd like to plan to get a new puppy in the mid-summer timeframe - I'm doing some work to my house and want to be sure the house is ready for a new member. I live in the Chicago area. I like the description of how you raise the puppys and that they are all black. I'd like to hear back from you and see what happens in the near future. My last Shepherd caught a stomach disease and is no longer with us - it about killed me to go through that, so I'm going to be very selective this time when I pick a breeder. Thanks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We were looking at other breeds too, but my husband and I both had shepherds in the past and really enjoy them. They are a great animal in so many ways. Where is Menifee located in Ca.? I was thinking we might be able to pick up a puppy and not have to have it shipped. We will be heading to So. Calif. in August and could possibly pick up one then if that worked for you. Saturday, April 10, 2004 05:38 PM 8) Pat Matthaeus edit | delete Dear :
My
husband and I are looking for a collie puppy. We have had lots of dogs
in our married life, and the first was a collie, Laddie, who was with
us for 14 years. He was the best and the greatest with our kids while
they were growing up. We have also had about 4 Dobermans, and 1 German
Shepherd, and several mixed breeds from shelters.
We lost our
last dog about 6 years ago, and just have our 2 cats right now, just
bought a new house, and want a dog again. In April we celebrate our
35th Anniversary, and want another collie to share our life with.
Our children are grown, but we do live close by and have 1 grandchild
and one more on the way. We know how good collies are with young
children, and cats. Our cats are almost 10 and we need a dog that will
like cats.
I have given you a little background because you seem truly caring about your dogs, which I liked reading very much.
My
only concern is that we live in Arizona, is this climate too hot for
the rough collie? we lived in Illinois when we had Laddie, very cold
and humid weather. I really like the rough collie better than the
smooth, but if this is not good for the dog, I will have to rethink
that.
We were thinking of coming down to California in late
April and wonder if you have any puppies to see. Also, what price range
are your puppies in?
We welcome any information you can provide.
I love your horses too. When I was a young girl, I used to ride paints
all the time. They were the best. You are certainly blessed to have
these wonderful pets to share your life. I love them all..but I'll
settle for one dog right now..haha.
Thanks for your time, and your great site.
